A delegation of International Monetary Fund during the next visit to Turkmenistan estimates the macroeconomic situation and discusses national policy priorities with senior government officials and representatives of the diplomatic community.
On November 24, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened an enlarged session of the Cabinet of Ministers to discuss the priority issues of the state’s and society’s life activity, as well as some drafts of the documents.

On the morning of March 16, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov went on a two-day official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. An official arrival ceremony for the President of Turkmenistan was held at the “Nur Khan” airbase in Islamabad, adorned with the two friendly countries’ State Flags. Upon arrival, the eminent Turkmen guest was greeted by the Guard of Honor, who lined up along the carpet, leading from the stair ramp, and a twenty-one-gun salute.
On March 14, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a regular working video-selector meeting with participation of the Cabinet Deputy Chairpersons, the Manager of the Presidential Administration and the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city to consider the implementation progress of complex reforms ongoing in the country and priorities of socio-economic development of the capital and regions.
On February 25, a regular meeting of the Organizing Committee of the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games was held under the chairmanship of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov in Ashgabat.
On February 18, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened a regular Cabinet session to address topical issues of state life and consider some draft documents.
On February 15, on the threshold of the national holiday – Day of State Flag of Turkmenistan, the opening of a large industrial carpets and carpet products production Open Joint-Stock Company “Abadan haly” took place in Abadan etrap of the capital with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.

The meeting agenda included the issues related to summing up the work results for 2015, and determining the priority objectives faced by sectors of the national economy in the near term.
