The Central Bank of Turkmenistan has issued a set of two commemorative coins (gold and silver) in denomination of 100 manats each to mark the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.
Turning to the subjects of the agenda, the Head of the State gave floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Hojamammedov who reported on the activity of the State Standard Centre that carries out metrological tests and comparative analysis of measuring instruments used in oil and gas sector, agriculture, health care, trade and other fields.
The issues of state life, the implementation of national and sectoral programs, and forthcoming events aimed at developing international cooperation have been considered at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
On June 22, having opened the session, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov called Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Hojamammedov, Minister of Finance M. Muhammedov, chairpersons of the state, joint stock and commercial banks.

Over the January-March period of 2017, a sustainable GDP growth, as compared to the same period of 2016, increased by 6.2 percent. In the industrial sector, this figure grew up on 1.8 percent, construction – 4.4 percent, transport-communication sector – 10.8 percent, trade – 10.4 percent, agriculture – 3.4 percent, service sector – 10.8 percent.
On March 31, speaking during opening ceremony of the ore-dressing and processing complex in Garlyk, the President of Turkmenistan underlined the strategic importance of the new enterprise in line with the chemical industry development – one of the priority sectors of the national economy.

For the period under review, the main index of national economy, the GDP, increased for 6.2 percent where the growth in industrial sector were 0.6 percent, in construction 4.6 percent, in transport and communication sector 11.4 percent, in trade 11 percent, in agriculture 3.2 percent and in service sphere 10.8 percent.
On March 3, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held the session of the Cabinet of Ministers where results of work of different branches of economy, social and political sphere from the beginning of the year were summed up. Certain issues of the state life were also reviewed.
On February 24, at a government meeting in Ashgabat, the country's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov by Resolution approved the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers, including 10 Vice-Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, 21 ministers and 27 chairmen of corporations and committees.
According to the results of 2016 in industries, providing services, the highest growth rate of gross value added has been recorded in trade – more than 14 percent.
Having announced the agenda, the Leader of the Nation gave floor to Chairman of the Central Committee for Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan G. Myradov who informed on the results of the elections of the Head of the States.
The 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly has unanimously adopted the Resolution declaring December 12 as International Neutrality Day.

On January 13, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which was dedicated to summarizing the results of work of the Government in the past year. Vice-premiers, ministers and heads of regional administrations have presented their reports; decisions on matters cadres have been made. The objectives of socio-economic development of the country in 2017 have also been identified.
