In honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan obtaining the status of permanent neutrality, the Central Bank of the country is introducing into circulation modified polymer banknotes in denominations of 1, 5, and 10 manats, as well as a new polymer banknote with a denomination of 200 manats from December 1 of the current year, held under the motto "The International Year of Peace and Trust".

On December 27 2024, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council, which was also attended by the hakims of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat.
On October 4 2024, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to sum up the activities of branches of economy for nine months of the year and to outline forthcoming goals.
