On December25, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a prior-to-the-New-Year joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the State Security Council.
On December 18, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a regular Cabinet session to discuss the topical issues of state life and the forthcoming important measures, and adopt a number of documents.
On December 13, in Mary velayat, the startup was given to the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline and the third-phase industrial facilities of the “Galkynysh” field commercial development, which would initially provide a resource base for the new gas trunk line.

On November 23, while on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov took part in the Summit of heads of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF). The head of Turkmen state was invited to the Summit as a distinguished guest.
During November 4-10, an International Monetary Fund delegation led by Mr. Björn Rotter was on a working visit to Turkmenistan. During the delegation’s staying in Ashgabat, representatives of the authoritative international organization held the meetings in the country’s ministries and agencies, as well as had meetings with representatives of the national parliament and private sector. The discussions were focused on the issues related to evaluation of the macroeconomic situation and Turkmenistan’s economy growth prospects.
On October 10, While on a working trip to Balkan velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened an out-of-office session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan to consider the important issues of state life and some draft documents.
On October 8, the Uzbek capital hosted the talks between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.
On October 6, Turkmenistan traditionally marks a mournful date - Memorial Day. It is the day of honoring the heroes fallen on the battlefields of all wars, as well as the victims of the Ashgabat catastrophic earthquake of 1948. In the mournful ceremony of laying flowers to the Memorial complex «Halkhakydasy» President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part.
On October 2, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened an enlarged session of the Cabinet of Ministers to sum up the current year’s nine-month state-of-the-economy results, as well as to consider a number of important issues of public life.
On September 26, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov met with Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon at the UN Headquarters.
On September 10, the “Avaza” Congress Center of the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone hosted a regular session of the Elders’ Council of Turkmenistan under the chairmanship of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.
